| 8th Day Center
The 8th Day Center for Justice is sponsored and supported by religious communities of men and women grounded in the hope of the Scriptures and the Christian faith tradition. The Center collaborates in the struggle to provide a critical alternative voice to the systems that suppress the human community and environment and to work for the structural changes, which will hasten the arrival of a more just world. The Spirituality of justice calls the staff of the 8th Day Center to envision a world of right relationships in which all creation is seen as sacred and interconnected. In such a world all people are equal and free from oppression, have a right to a just distribution of resources, and to live in harmony with the cosmos. The staff works from an organic model to fulfill its vision and goals - working with other coalitions on issues, making decisions by consensus, and promoting participation by all involved.
