8 ounces shell macaroni
1 pound ground lean beef
1 small onion chopped
salt
1 package taco seasoning
¾ cup water
1 15 ounce-can tomato sauce
1 4 ounce-can chopped green chilies
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Cook macaroni, drain and set aside. Brown beef with onion and lightly salted. After browning add taco seasoning, water, tomato sauce and green chilies. Mix with the macaroni. Put mixture in a greased baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes in a 350° oven. Sprinkle with cheese the last 10 minutes of baking. Serves 6
