| Sister Julia Theobald, Then and Now
Then...
 Sr. Julia grew up in Champaign-Urbana, IL. and eventually graduated from Urbana High School in 1968. Planning her life out, she attended college at College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL and Library Graduate School at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She was well into her career as a Librarian at The Urbana Free Library as a reference librarian when she felt God calling her to religious life.
Now...
 Having entered the Dominican Sisters in 1980, Sr. Julia has taught Latin and English in community high schools and has served as a librarian at the high school level in Aurora and Springfield. While the librarian at Sacred Heart Griffin High School, Sr. Julia earned a Master's Degree in Communication. She now ministers as the Multimedia Coordinator for the community.
